Multimeter tutorial
In this part we're going to see how to use the multimeter, to measure:
- Voltage (AC/DC)
- Current
- Resistance

Display
In the LCD display that we can see the readings of each measure. To know what is being measured one must look at the display and see where the selector switch is pointing at.
Multimeter Inputs
The black probe will be connected at "COM" port , so the ports "10A" and "V / mA / Ω" are used depending on the type of measure you want to do.

| Port 10A | Port V/mA/Ω |
|---|---|
| Current up to 10 A | Voltage AC/DC |
| Current lesser than 1 A | |
| Resistance |
Using measure switch
We set the scale and measurement type in the multimeter by turning the central switch, for example in the figure below the meter is configured to measure resistance in the range of 20KΩ.
